Today’s card is the Three of Wands.
A person stands with his back to us between three wands. The landscape is incredibly green, and the sky is pink/red. The person is wearing fancy dress and looks confidently over the land.
Huszka’s card is quite different. A person in the middle of the card seems to be wrapped in a blanket. Their eyes are closed, and they have a fleur-de-lis-like mark on their forehead. Below them is a small town with large fir trees. Above are three birds, one of which is proudly displaying its tail feathers. There might be a frog’s face up there too? There’s a lot going on in the card, but I’m not quite sure how to describe the rest.
The Animal Wisdom Tarot card shows three fire-bellied toads surrounding and looking at three branches. Two of the branches have buds, and one is blooming. The Animism Tarot card mimics the Efflorescent scene: a cougar sits between three wands and confidently looks out at the land in front of it.
Three of the four cards are bright and feel optimistic. Huszka’s is darker, but it doesn’t have a negative feel. Just much more subdued. Kind of sleepy. Perhaps the person is dreaming.
This card is representative of commitment to dreams and plans. Its light side is planning, expanding horizons, and resourcefulness. Readiness and ability to put plans into action.
It may indicate that another step(s) is needed before success can be assured or that support of others is needed. The ability to be flexible and creative is important. Be present during this time.
Its shadow could be lack of direction, self-doubt, or unrealistically large plans.
If the Three of Wands could say something to me today, it might say, “Keep taking steps on your work toward elemental balance. Be present, creative, and flexible as the journey continues so you don’t get thrown off track. Keep your plans realistic and don’t expect everything to fall in to place at once.”
